Hello!
I have a huge favor to ask. My daughter Dasha is sick with Fanconi anemia
(aplastic anemia). We live in Sevastopol. Unfortunately, she could not get
proper care in Ukraine and get a correct diagnosis. To save our daughter, we
traveled to Russia.
Dasha underwent examination at Russian Children's Clinical hospital where she
was diagnosed and told that bone marrow transplantation would be the treatment
method for this disease. Dasha has no related donors. I gave birth to a son in
November and we hoped his cord blood will match, but unfortunately, it did not.
Now Dasha has only an option of unrelated transplantation, for which she was
accepted to R. Gorbacheva Pediatric Hematology and Transplantology Institute.
But we have to pay full price for the donor search at Morsch registry,
transplantation and stay at the Institute for treatment.
My husband is in the Navy and has a very small salary. I am on maternity
leave. Please help us save Dasha!

We are sincerely grateful to Russian Help Fund for agreeing to pay for
transplantation and collection of bone marrow. Therefore, we urgently
need to raise 5,000 euros for the donor search.
Update as of March 12, 2010.
On March 11, Theater Center on Kolomenskaya
held Ballet Night and donated proceeds to benefit three of our patients:
Dasha, Sasha Agapitov and
Igor Verbitsky.
The ticket sales generated
7,500 euros for the donor search and delivery of transplants for
Dasha, with the money raised by Russian Help Fund we no
longer need to raise more money for Dasha.
We are sincerely grateful to
Theater Center on Kolomenskaya and Irina Moiseevna personally, as
