My name is Galina. I came to St. Petersburg for bone marrow transplantation and further treatment. My sister Marina will be a donor and she is now with me. Please help us with paying for apartment rental in St. Petersburg, as we cannot afford it on our own.

Medical report

 

Update as of January 29, 2010. Galya underwent transplantation. She is now in intensive care unit with severe swelling. She urgently needs Albumin.

Update as of February 20, 2010. Galina's condition got better, so she was transferred from the intensive care unit to a regular ward. At present she is getting ambulatory treatment. Galina needs 400 mg of Vfend a day.

Update as of March 3, 2010. Galina was transferred to intensive care unit. To deal with swelling, she needs two bottles of Albumin a day.

Update as of March 14, 2010. Galina's condition is unchanged. She is still being monitored by intensive care specialists.

Update as of April 3, 2010. Galina feels better. She no longer has swelling and her condition is stable. The doctors transferred her to outpatient monitoring. She now lives at the rented apartment and still needs Vfend.

Update as of May 13, 2010. On April 15th I was discharged from the clinic. Since then I have been living in a rented apartment and monitored as an outpatient. My blood counts are gradually improving and the doctors decided to allow me to go home for two months. Based on CT scan of chest, I need to continue taking anti-fungal drug, Vfend, at 200 mg twice a day.

Update as of August 18, 2010. Examination results are good, and Galina has been allowed to go home where she will be controlled by local doctors.
