Hello!
Our daughter Liza was born on June 10, 2006. She was born healthy. She was 50 cm long
and weighed 3,150 gr. Liza was happy and sunny baby and never got sick. She already
walked well at 10 months of age and started using her first words: mama, papa,
baba and give me.
We were so happy when she turned 1! She is the best and most loved child!
Unfortunately, the disaster was not far away. At 14 months, Liza developed fever.
Her doctors told us it was due to teething. After 5 days of Lisa's high temperature,
we called ambulance again.
Liza was taken to the hospital where she had all the necessary testing. Then she
received a terrifying diagnosis, acute myeloid leukemia, neuroleukemia, mixed
stroke, swelling of brain and lung. Liza was installed tracheostomy, a tube in her
throat that allows her to breathe. Still, we hope and believe that we will overcome
everything and Liza will live. We just need your help, hope, trust and support.
Thank you in advance.

During Lisa's treatment, her mother left her.
Lisa's father took upon himself responsibility for Lisa's
treatment and upbringing and it was later legalized by
the court's decision.
Update as of December 3, 2007.
Our doctors are recommending us to purchase an inhalator to treat complications with Lisa's breathing. However, the necessary inhaler/nebulizer
is very expensive (from 6,000 rubles to 15,000 rubles) and we would like to ask for your help.

Update as of December 13, 2007.
We would like to thank AdVita fund for nebulizer. It really helps! Lisa started to breathe
better and her tracheostoma may be removed.
On December 11th she started the second chemotherapy block and it will last 28 days.
Elizaveta is starting to feel better, and I feed her with a spoon.
We really need a child-size chair with an adjustable back. I would like to put it on
the bed, because Lisa cannot sit by herself yet. If possible, we would also like to ask
for help with buying food and personal hygiene items. Thank you very much for your
support and care.
With gratitude, Yana, Lisa's mom
Update as of December 23, 2007.
We are very thankful for the baby chair that we received! We like it very much! Lisa can
sit and play in it, and she only sleeps in her bed now. Also, we are very grateful for
the cell phone, which we received in place of a stolen one.
My new number is 8-911-005-99-88.
We have gone through the first week of chemotherapy. Lisa feels well, and she does not
feel worse. On the contrary, she is much better. She now communicates and plays more.
Her stroke is slowly retreating, but we are still just in the beginning
of our journey. We are looking ahead with lots of hope and belief in the better future.
Thanks again for your help. It really makes a difference for us. Thank you for
hope, patience, care and support. Elizaveta and I would like to thank all of you!
