Pasha died on May 8, 2010
Hello!
My name is Pavel Dolgachev. I live in Moscow. For more than a year I have been
sick with severe type of aplastic anemia. During this time, I was practically
constantly at the hospital. Unfortunately, a course of therapy with ATG did
not help, and my blood counts did not improve. To add to my troubles, I got
infectious hepatitis C. The doctors told me I should not have a second course
of therapy, as my liver will not be able to tolerate it.
For this reason, I had no more therapy, but simply waited for the bone marrow
donor to be found. This is now my only chance to recover.
During this time, my parents and people who were helping me, spend a lot of
money and energy to support me.
The world is not without good people. I was found a donor, and the search was
already paid for. I now have a chance and will travel to St. Petersburg for
treatment.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford expensive medications and rented apartment.
Bone marrow transplantation is scheduled for November 14th. We plan to come
to St. Petersburg on November 1.
I am enormously grateful to everyone who will respond! I really need your help.
Respectfully, Pavel
