Hello!
Our names are Dmitry and Natalia. We are parents of Sergei Vasiliev.
We live in Shlisselburg in Leninigradsky region. In 1997 our son Sergei
was born. We were very happy. Serezha was growing up healthy and lively
kid. He brought joy to everyone in the family.
On March 23, 2009 Serezha felt unwell. This concerned us because he
practically never got sick. When we went to the local hospital, Serezha
was tested and issued a preliminary diagnosis of
acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
We were referred to Raisa Gorbacheva Institute of Pediatric Hematology and
Transplantology for testing, and we were horrified when the diagnosis was
confirmed. Serezha was urgently hospitalized.
For a week, he was prepared for the course of chemotherapy, and it started
on April 3, 2009. The course will last for a long time. Serezha will need
expensive and rare medications, which we are unable to afford.
We are asking to provide us with financial support to buy expensive
medications and afford further treatment.
Our family will be grateful to everyone who responds to our request!
Dmitry and Natalia
